Recycling Coffee into Mushrooms!

We are an innovative social enterprise growing Gourmet Mushrooms from organic waste.

We make the UK’s first Gourmet Mushroom Grow Kit from recycled coffee grounds – enabling you to easily grow your own fresh and delicous Gourmet Mushrooms at home, whilst helping to recycle waste too!

We also run Mushroom Growing Courses and are making educational kits for Schools.

In the longer run, we are working to establish a blueprint for the recycling of coffee waste into Gourmet Mushrooms across all UK cities. See our Enterprise page for more details.

Are you a teacher looking for something fun to do in class that hits on multiple parts of the  curriculum? Or maybe you’ve tried a mushroom kit at home and would like your child’s class to learn more about waste, recycling and fungi?

We are currently designing a range of educational growing kits for schools. These will enable pupils to become fascinated by the wonderful world of Fungi as they watch them grow in the classroom and will feature fun, unique and interesting resources for learning about food, waste, fungi, nutrient cycles, enterprise and more.
